Karl Friedrich Schulz, called "Jagdschulz" (Hunting Schulz) by his contemporaries in Germany, was a student of the Academies of Berlin and Duesseldorf and from 1840 a professor of Berlin Academy. He made many study trips to Holland, France, England and for a short period of time in 1874 lived in St.Petersburg. K.F.Schulz was very popular for his hunting and militarian scenes.
Condition: In good overall condition, lined, under ultra violet: a few insignificant minor touch-ups in the background.
