Erich Schmale-Walter was a well-known Viennese graphic artist, illustrator and journalist of the early 20th century. He studied at the Vienna Academy in 1905-1907 and continued his education at Vienna School of Applied Arts under Professor B.Loeffler from 1908. The artist collaborated with the famous Viennese workshop "Wiener Werkstaette".
