Emmanuel Adolphe Midy (1797 Rouen – 1874) was a well-known French genre and landscape painter, watercolor artist and lithographer. He was a pupil of Regnault; exhibited at Parisian Salon in 1835 and 1836.
This handcoloured lithograph was made by a French artist Adolphe Midy after a painting by Beaume. Provenance: From the album of the Daughter of Russian Tsar Nicholas I, Grand Duchess of Russia and Queen of Wuerttemberg Olga Nikolaevna.
Condition: In good overall condition, minor water stains on margins (matting is advisable).
