Broncia Koller-Pinell (1863 Sanok - 1934 Wien) is a very significant name in the history of Austrian art. She was a famous Jewish female artist of the turn of the 20th century and one of the few succesful woman painters at work in Vienna around 1900. Being influenced by Impressionism and French painting, her works also provide evidence of a markedly stylized manner of painting, that became popular among the artists in Vienna of the early 20th century. Among Broncia Koller-Pinell's friends were Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele and she exhibited together with Klimt's group "Kunstschau" in Vienna (1908-1909), in Rome (1912-1914), in Brussels (1913), etc. Her works can be seen in various museums and significant collections. midec1709 Condition: good Creation Year: 1910s Measurements: UNFRAMED:18,8x27,9cm/7,4x11,0in Object Type: Unframed drawings Style: Impressionism Technique: pencil on paper Inscription: monogrammed: B.K.
