Rare work of Leipzig miniaturist, who was mentioned as working in that city in late 18th Century.
Thieme-Becker suggests he was probably ident with a friend of Schiller's, the German poet Ludwig Ferdinand Huber (1764-1804), son of the art collector and translator Michael Huber (see our image nr.9 with clips from Thieme-Becker and Schidlof).
