Friedrich Wolf was a well-known Vienna watercolor portrait artist in the middle of 19th century. He was a son of another reknown Vienna portraitist and lithographer Franz Wolf (1795-1859) and probably a pupil of Vienna portrait painter Franz Eybl (SEE LATTERS WORKS IN OUR POSSESSION), whose influence is very strong in the works of Friedrich Wolf.
