Unfortunately not of best quality and not in perfect condition, this miniature, showing a man, wearing an uniform of a two-star-general ("marechal-de-camp" (brigade general)) of the French Republican Army from the period between 1797 and 1801 (late Directory-early Consulate - see our image nr.7) is nevertheless interesting object for collectors of Napoleonica.
