All our shipments of paintings and works of art in value over 500 EUR are professionally packed by Mail Boxes Etc with high quality material. They may seem high compared to a similar service in the US, but it insures quality and security for transportation of your purchase. Please be assured we don't make money with shipping and forward quotes of Mail Boxes Etc. as it is to our customers.

To have your items shipped you can choose between two options:

- DHL shipping worldwide (professionally packed by Mail Boxes Etc., fully insured - for additional 1,8% of item value - and trackable on the internet);

- or regular Austrian registered mail. Refunded insurance value not more than EUR 500; in Europe sometimes more depending on destination.

PLEASE NOTE: shipping costs never include customs fees, if applicable. Customers are responsible for these fees in the country of delivery, neither our gallery nor the shippers can estimate those fees. The customs authorities of your country can inform you about taxes that may apply.

FRAMED PAINTINGS

There is the possibility of shipping without frame if:

1)You don't like the frame or want to replace it by one of your preference.

2)You want to save shipping costs. In this case a reduction on shipment price may apply.

Any of these cases require a quote for the item unframed.

FREE SHIPPING ITEMS:

Many of the works of art we sell are free shipping items. Applicable if stated in the item description - we will cover shipping with regular registered mail, insured up to 500 EUR and insurance costs for these. Upon request we can schedule DHL service for this kind of item, but in this case extra charges will apply (in this case you have your shipment full insured - for 1,8% of item value).

CASE OF LOSS OR DAMAGE:

In the event of loss or damage to a shipped item, the buyer must retain all packing materials and any of the contents of the package(s) and contact the Seller promptly in order to make a claim with the insurer (either DHL or the Austrian Mail).
